Collaborative Care
At The Nourish Club, we prioritise collaborative care, working closely with your healthcare team in a client-centered approach. By fostering collaboration, we ensure that every clinician treats you as a whole person, supporting and enhancing your recovery journey. This may involve sharing reports with your team, holding regular case conferences, or referring you to the appropriate practitioners for comprehensive care.

Initial Assessment
In-person or online, this assessment involves discussing background, disordered eating behaviours, reviewing medical assessments, developing goals and deciding a therapy plan.

Review Appointment
In-person or online, the review appointments are individualised to each client. Typically, reviewing homework tasks set from previous sessions, psychoeducation, counselling, diet support and providing strategies to work towards goals.

NDIS Appointment
In-person or online, NDIS appointments are similar to the above, with the addition of discussing NDIS related goals and the price is set to the NDIS guidelines.

Medicare and Funding Pathways
Medicare
You may be eligible for an Eating Disorder Care Plan (EDP) or an Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDMP), you can find out and get a referral from your General Practitioner (GP). Rebates start at $60.35 per appointment. Depending on your Medicare threshold, your rebate might increase, you can check this on the MyGov app. The EDP allows for up to 20 sessions for dietitian and 40 sessions for psychology. The CDMP allows for up to 5 sessions for dietitian intervention. Both plans are seen over a 12 month period.
NDIS
Dietetics is available for claiming under NDIS, this is typically under the line item “Capacity Building - Improved Health and Wellbeing” or “Improved Daily Living” or '“Core Supports”. Please check with your support coordinator or the Local Area Coordinator if you are able to use NDIS funding for dietetics. We are able to provide support or advocate for funding on your behalf, if required.
Private Health
Please contact your private health fund, each fund will be different with their cover options and rebates for dietetics.
Third Party Insurance
Third Party Insurance are encouraged to send us a direct referral, we can then be in contact to organise approved session hours and reporting.

Cancelation Policy
Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please notify us as soon as possible. To avoid any cancellation fees, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice.
Cancellation within 24 hours: If you cancel or reschedule within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment, a cancellation fee of 50% of the total service cost will be charged.
Late Arrivals: If you arrive late, your appointment may be shortened, and the full service fee will still apply.
Filling Cancelled Spot: If we are able to fill your cancelled appointment spot with another client, the cancellation fee will be waived.
NDIS Cancellation Policy
For NDIS clients, a 100% cancellation fee will apply if the session is cancelled within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment. However, if we are able to fill your cancelled spot with another NDIS client, the cancellation fee will be waived.
